Rant on Mouse Based User Interface

Image
One can't deny, using graphical user interface(GUI) because it has been deep rooted as integral part of the software, it has become the de facto user interface. Interacting with the software means clicking buttons, moving mouse, pressing on keyboards. Among the input device, keyboard is the most important one if someone wants to interact with their computer. There is no long history of Computer and computer based system like gun powder, or paper does. But Keyboard usage can be dated back to earliest of times when computer and its capabilities were just being recognized. When large innovations were being made in the field of computing, Xerox realized that mouse could be the next big thing but they didn't invest upon the idea. The sold it to Apple. Apple implemented the idea, and tuned in such a way that it changed how we looked at interacting with computers. The introduction to mouse was what made graphical User Interface possible.   Some Unga punga hit the jackpot with hit and trial on fire. Then Everybody started banging stones to create a spark ; it made life easy because cooked food made chewing easier. Fire is a trend albeit a non decaying one. Similarly Money is a construct, it has no real value unless a large group of people decide that it has value; Money has a trend. But there are sadhus who deny the usage. Do they matter? Not for a society. When whole society is based upon collaboration ,sharing, and setting up the trends individual thoughts don't matter, you have to deviate towards majority to be part of society in someway.    I want justice for Victim for X reasons, so do many of them, maybe with different motive and different reasons hence it is a trend, doesn't matter if i just want validity through likes and comment or i am someone who really cares.    I am who you may generalize as society who you might blame when life doesn't go how you expect.I am same society who you blame when Bhag

Post class Reflection

Today we were taught X and taught Y, here is another example or my take on some Z things done on the class.  This is the common template, i find when i gaze over other post class reflections. I am trying something new today. One that actually represents my feelings and may help me grab a correct path.  Handling the situation:     The train is out of the track; Deviated from its journey. Looks like its heading the opposite path. How can i bring it back? I have to assess the situation, understand the condition, and make plans according to it. Somehow my brain manages to abstract things out. Not this time;  i have a problem with my retention of vocabulary, My problem solving skills, my persuasive skills and in overall my passive way of learning things. That is not how a society changing figure is born.  The irony of thinking that i am not genetically gifted; when i am a human who is on top of the food chain. It only make sense when i juxtapose me with a successful entrepreneur. My n

Among all the vanished civilizations, that of the former Polynesian society on Easter Island remains as one the biggest mysteries. The size if about 163.6 km2. It's position is 2000 miles from nearest continent and 1400 miles away from next habitable island.James cook during his brief visit in 1774 found out that islanders were Polynesians . During the brief visit there were no sign of canoes or technology relevant and common during the time such as wheels which means they were isolated. There were only small shrubs and some crops with chicken as their meat source. Most striking feature of this island is the stone statues called Moai. More than 200 of which once stood on massive stone platforms and 700 in stage of completion. The deposit of stones used to build them were found to be 6 miles away from the location where statues are erected. Each statue requires a stone with large volume, with mass about 270 tons so the common question is what was the method of their logistics? This

Post Class Reflection: Week 3

Retaining facts is arduous when there are no connecting dots. Motivation is just clinging and ready to be cut off at any moment, Skepticism about the practical usage of course material is at peak. I just can't focus. May be that is the reason why My post class reflection blog is late. Sorry if  the topic of discussion in the class is blurred. Anyways this is about the class taken on Wednesday, July of 29th. I have faint hint on discussion about acrostic poem. The task was to create a acrostic poem out of our own name. The trick is to think our name as acronym.   I recently read about GNU which abbreviates as "GNU's Not Unix".  Notice the usage of acronym usage within its long form. I felt compelled to do something similar to it so Here is my acrostic poem A: Ashish S: Seeks H: Haste I: In S: Synergic    H: Horde  I could be more creative and latch into excessive feel-good, uplifting adjectives that makes me look like a perfect person but that is not who i am. I believ
